Enamored

Unfortunately not with me...

I finally caved and actually went to the library and borrowed a Baby Einstein DVD for Luke to watch. These last two weeks where Andrew hasn't been able to hold him have been slightly (okay, incredibly!) exhausting. I just wanted a few minutes to sit and breathe. Poor Andrew has tried to help me keep an eye on Luke, but he can't pick him up and that gets hard for both of us. If I put Luke on the floor and go into the kitchen, Andrew has to yell for me every time Luke gets close to the heaters or grabs the tv cables or eats our shoes or gets stuck under the couch or spits up or... You get the idea. It's been crazy, and I know it's been hard for Andrew to not be able to even hold Luke and I'm sure it's frustrating for him. So, I decided to see if he would sit still if we let him watch a baby program...

It was pretty cute. I think he enjoyed it. And, while I did get several minutes "off" I didn't really do anything but watch him because he was so darn sweet.

wow, looks like the same degree of enjoyment and concentration I see on Uncle Stephen's face during America's Test Kitchen!

I love these pictures of my grandson especially the last one. Reminds me of the movie "Home Alone." I love all the other pictures too.

Three cheers for anything that gives you a break, no matter how brief! But, given his genes on both sides, he's already a Baby Einstein. :-)

Oh, he is just too cute!

Thanks for stopping by my blog and entering the giveaway. The leaf on the bricks is one of my personal favorites too, so I was thrilled when you said you liked it :)

Good luck!
