More Faces of Lukey

Eric Peters in Concert
We enjoyed the Eric Peters and Stacy Grubb concert this past weekend here in Beckley. It's always fun to hear live music, and that was some good live music. Even Luke enjoyed it... Well, he liked the guitars, clapping and camera. :)
Okay, when I got out the camera to take a few pictures of Eric, Luke insisted on a picture of this face. I was laughing so hard.
He just kept making funny faces and wanting me to take pictures of him. It was hilarious.
It was a great evening out. And Luke slept in forever the next day. It was crazy. I enjoyed getting to chat a bit with Stacy Grubb. Good times, good times. :)

Faces of Lukey
Here are some more of his lovely expressions. A few weeks ago I had tried to give him a mohawk with what little hair the poor kid has. If you look closely, you might be able to see it. :)

This one is a "cry face."

This is a "sad face." It doesn't look very sad, but it did right before I snapped the picture. This is him sniffing. He is hilarious.

Love this! Who knows what "face" this is!

Here is the quintessential (that's for you, Mom) "happy face."

I don't know what we were in between on this one, but he makes me laugh. Funny kid.
He is showing his personality more and more each day now. It is too much fun to see what he comes up with each and every day. He is much more communicative in both sign and speech. He's doing a really good job.

What is this?
Luke is learning to make so many funny expressions these days. I'm lucky to catch any of them on camera, cause he's also enthralled with the camera and keeps trying to see the display. Needless to say, I have quite a lot of pictures of the side of his face, or half of his face, or the back of his head! But this one cracked me up, too. :)
What a silly baby.

Faces of Lukey
Luke and I were waiting for Andrew to finish talking after our church meeting one day. So we were playing with the camera...

What's over there?

"We represent the lollipop guild..."

Mommy is SO funny.

"Can I see the picture, Mom?"

Here's a great smile.

Mommy and Lukey together.

Ah, the picture we were waiting for.

Crazy Faces - exploring the new house
Luke has enjoyed the experience of having a step to play on. Of course, on his first day in this house, he fell backwards off the step and smashed his head on the hard floor. It feels like carpeted cement and is HARD. So he was quite upset. But, he quickly mastered going up and down. He still tumbles down it sideways sometimes, but rarely does it bother him.

He was happily playing with the Dr Pepper case while climbing up and down the step. He's pretty proud of himself!

I don't even know what to say about this face. It's just funny.

Look Mom! This is awesome.... er, what is it? Also, his feet ALWAYS come out of this outfit. I think it needs more buttons.

"I think she's gonna pick me up now!"

His little hand is reaching for the strap on the camera. He's a quick one!

This picture reminds me of his cousin Wilson. A lot. Something about the tongue. And also, I love his eyes in this one. He's just so much fun.
I love this boy. He's such a joy and such a handful. He's always into something (he literally fell into one of the boxes I haven't gotten unpacked yet) and is a delight. And I'm tired. :)
It's been a lovely weekend in spite of Luke and I not being well enough to go to church. Andrew had today off and he let me run to CVS (they totally need to stop having awesome deals on pop!) without the baby. That was nice. Luke's pretty easy, really, to take out with me. But it's still lovely to go out without worrying about getting him in and out of his car seat or picking up whatever item he has grabbed from a shelf as we walked by and decided it would be funny to throw it on the floor. I am so thankful for the sling. Don't know what I would do without it. Although, I think I'm about to find out, cause he's getting really heavy to carry around for more than an hour. Anyway, I digress. I'm going to go find some chocolate to eat. :)
