Enamored

Unfortunately not with me...

I finally caved and actually went to the library and borrowed a Baby Einstein DVD for Luke to watch. These last two weeks where Andrew hasn't been able to hold him have been slightly (okay, incredibly!) exhausting. I just wanted a few minutes to sit and breathe. Poor Andrew has tried to help me keep an eye on Luke, but he can't pick him up and that gets hard for both of us. If I put Luke on the floor and go into the kitchen, Andrew has to yell for me every time Luke gets close to the heaters or grabs the tv cables or eats our shoes or gets stuck under the couch or spits up or... You get the idea. It's been crazy, and I know it's been hard for Andrew to not be able to even hold Luke and I'm sure it's frustrating for him. So, I decided to see if he would sit still if we let him watch a baby program...








It was pretty cute. I think he enjoyed it. And, while I did get several minutes "off" I didn't really do anything but watch him because he was so darn sweet.

Faces of Lukey

Here are just a few of the expressions I see on a daily basis. I love this sweet baby. He brings a smile to my face every day. He's also helping me to get really strong arms!














All those expressions must have tired him out!

Playing with the gym... Sitting up

So, Luke officially mastered sitting up a few weeks ago. He now loves toys that can be played with sitting up... Here are some of him with the gym.












He's moved into such a curious phase... and now he can get around and get into stuff. Yikes!

Daddy feeds Lukey

Here are my two boys again... Daddy took the plunge into feeding Luke some cereal. They did great together!











I love the grins on both of their faces in this picture! Too sweet. I love my boys!

Lukey Close-Ups

This is our happy little boy. He really is generally cheerful. I am glad for that because he's such a handful that if he were a grumpy handful, I don't think I'd appreciate that very much! He's learning so much about his little world right now that it's just so fun to watch. He is a great source of delight to his Mom and Dad. We love our little guy! Sorry for the fuzziness of some of the images... It's hard to get him while he's remotely still, and if the lighting is poor, then we're out of luck!









Sorry for the sizing issues on the last one... Andrew was trying to show me how to clean up some of the fuzziness and apparently we picked different sizes when we resized!
